What we collect and why

• Email address — when you create an account, we use your email to send sign-in codes, sync your progress across devices and, if you buy Premium, to manage your purchase. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Learning progress — the questions you answer, topics you read and mock exam scores. Stored on your device; when you are signed in, a copy is saved to your account so you can continue on any device. Legal basis: contract.
• Payments — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep a record of the purchase (reference, amount, date) for accounting and to manage refunds. Legal basis: contract and legal obligation.
• Feedback and refund messages — what you write in the in-app forms, so we can reply and improve the app. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Anonymous usage counts — a simple daily counter (e.g. how many people visited or practised). It contains no personal data and does not track you across sites. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

What we don't do

We show no advertising, use no third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and we never sell or share your data for marketing. Cookies and browser storage are used only for essentials: keeping you signed in, remembering your settings and saving your progress.

Who processes data for us

Cloudflare (website hosting and database), Stripe (payments) and Resend (sending sign-in code and service emails). Each acts under its own security and data-protection commitments; data may be processed in the UK, EU or US under appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep data

Account and progress data are kept while your account is active. Purchase records are kept as required for tax and accounting. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time by emailing [email protected].

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Just email us — we respond promptly and there is no charge.
